British artist Jon Harvey is a graduate of the Bournemouth School of Art & Design. He worked as a Creative Director in the advertising industry for over 20 years before going on to establish his own design practice. Today he continues a lifelong devotion to image making through his original paintings.

From Bauhaus to Modernism and Pop Art, Jon’s influences are rooted in art movements of the 20th Century - with his formative years in the 1980s being shaped by the bold visual language and graphic aesthetic of magazines like The Face and artists such as Haring and Hockney.

His work embraces the principles of abstraction and non-objective art, creating emotive, dynamic compositions that are often inspired by a feeling or memory - the beauty and imperfection of our interior landscapes.

His work is held in private collections worldwide.
