Sunglasses

What better time to lose your favourite not to mention only pair of decent sunglasses than on the hottest day of the year? That's what happened to me a few weeks ago. But every (sun) cloud has a silver lining, and so it began, the hunt for an even better pair. Now we all know we need to look after our peepers and you'll also know that I have a thing for bins, this is the (glasses) case when it comes to sunglasses. And my stunningly beautiful, mesmerizing, ice blue optical organs needed protecting, and fast.

Have you brought your sunglasses out this year yet? Kicking and screaming into the light having spent the last six months sleeping in a dusty cupboard. It's time. Do you still love them? Do they still love you? Or are you looking for a good excuse to invest in a new pair? I recommend losing them, it's much better than someone sitting on them, especially if you're still wearing them at the time. After two weeks of looking I finally decided on not one but two pairs (bottom two images shown here). Here's hoping it'll be a while yet before they end up in sunglass Heaven with all the others.
